I'll explain the distinction between the two builds, but essentially the main catalyst between these two is using and dropping Lawbringer. The post-leveling build (EDITED 1/10/21 - See comments at the bottom) Bypasses Undead Physical Resistance - meaning, when you strike an Undead, the damage calculation upon hitting sets the monster's physical resistance to 0, this is why Physical Immune Undead are basically nothing to you with this aura on Includes up to 720% Enhanced Damage to Undead, however I believe this is bugged (as it never worked in D2LOD, and I'm not sure if PD2 corrected it) Applies magic damage to your attack, and pulsing magic damage to enemies in a radius TL DR on the build: This is a Zeal Paladin that focuses on Sanctuary as its primary offensive aura.įor those unaware, Sanctuary in PD2 now deals a much larger amount of magic damage to ALL enemies (not just Undead) but still retains the damage modifiers it had vs Undead as well, plus it can be fully synergized now.Ī quick rundown of Sanctuary's mechanics: Hey all, since I've been messing with this setup quite a bit I figured I'd make a post and share what I have learned so far.įirst off, a quick disclaimer: This is NOT meant to be a meta endgame build, the Dream Zealot and others will outshine it, but it's a nice changeup from standard Zeal builds and I'm glad PD2 gave Sanctuary some love.Īnother disclaimer is that this build is still a work-in-progress, I haven't yet found out what BIS gear would be but I do have a pretty good idea of what to aim for.
